Born in Washington D.C. in 1982, my parents moved my sister and I to the west coast soon after. I grew up in sunny Danville California, known for a really, really old oak tree. Growing up I loved soccer, singing, and worked as a Life Guard and Veterinary Technician. State champions in both soccer and choir were fantastic experiences. Singing in Europe after high school was simply amazing. I went on to college to find a passion for politics and graduated from UCR in 2004 with a BA in Political Science. I met some amazing friends in the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority! I moved back to Washington D.C. to quickly find studying politics and participating in them are two very different things- I was lucky to find a job working in Advertising for Congressional Quarterly. After two years of enjoying that magical city it was time to move closer to family. Starting out again in Scottsdale Arizona in the fall of 2006, I worked on a development project with my dad.
AND THEN… having nearly given up on finding anyone on Match.com, Joey and I had our first date at the coffee shop, October 17, 2007. I was smitten… Joey is everything and more. I adore his witty and pun-like sense of humor, his generous and kind nature, his amazing family and friends that would do anything for him, his adventuresome and positive attitude towards life and because he loves me unconditionally. xoxo
