Although I was born in Long Island, NY some murmty-mumph years ago, I didn’t stay there very long, and so I consider myself to be an Arizona native. Around here, that self-proclaimed label can earn you some nice perks, like a discount at the cowboy boot cobbler or a respectful nod from a park ranger. As a kid, I enjoyed camping, video games, and Honey Nut Cheerios. I got a bit older and focused my nervous energy toward more productive things… In high school, I advanced in math and computers and also got really good at playing the drums. After high school, I set sail for Tucson to study at the University of Arizona (still in AZ). Besides earning my degree, I instructed a few high school drumlines in the area. After graduating, I got a job as a software engineer at Intel in Chandler, (you guessed it – AZ), and have been working there for nine short years. We make computer processors. When I am not sitting in a cubicle arranging 1′s and 0′s, my “tertiary” existence is dedicated to spending quality time with the people that I care about, most significantly of which is my dear Rebecca. The moment we met, I knew immediately that she was someone special, and the fact that we made a promise to spend the rest of our lives together is at the core of how I define happiness. Rebecca makes me happy in so many ways – not only does she glow constantly with elegance and charm and have a perfect smile, she also has unshakeable values and principles and understands the vital importance of family and friends. Rebecca is sweet and kind and loving and smells like flowers. I am crazy about her and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together.
